Fanning The Flame Catholic Mission takes the safeguarding and well-being of every young person and adult in our care seriously. Every volunteer who is 18+, with any role within FTF and who will come in to contact with young people, undergoes a DBS check in line with Diocese of Portsmouth guidelines. All 18+s at any FTF event are also required to adhere to the following policy that outlines further safeguarding details particularly pertinent to the work of FTF.

Fanning the Flame Catholic Mission has been a part of The Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph's apostolate, called "Light of Truth" and presently continues to follow its guidelines that build upon the polices of the Diocese of Portsmouth.
