"Dignified" is a special day for young Catholics where we will discuss many of the ethical issues we see in the world around us - but we will not despair! Our dignity comes from God, and it is this dignity which underpins the positive teachings the Catholic Church has on many of the contentious issues!  With teaching from the Dominican sisters of St Joseph we will look at how God is our rock in troubled times and how practically we can, with the help of His grace, grow in understanding and speak to the truth to others.

The day is open to all young people aged 14-21, from local parishes or further afield. We strongly encourage all confirmands to attend in preparation for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation (or after it!). There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and seek advice. We will always compassionately strive to give you the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. 

It’s an opportunity for young people to come together and grow in faith and fellowship, receive the sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation and have some fun!
